Lorraine Miller's Garden
"This is a place where
everybody can self-actualize. Most of the ideas and things that we do here
come from the staff. Everybody here has an opportunity to be the very best they
can be. They can be free and they can be creative and there is no limit to it.

Salt Lake City. In this
show we focus on Lorraine Miller's story, long after she invested $2,000 back
in 1976 to start the business of her dreams. Today, she can say, "I am the
founder of Cactus and Tropicals in Salt Lake City." In 1994 she was named
Small Business Person of the Year by the US Small
Business Administration and in 1997 was named by Ernst & Young as one
of Salt Lake's outstanding entrepreneurs. She provides indoor and outdoor
landscaping to hundreds of customers and you'll find her retail store full of
plants and gifts for shoppers within any budget. |
