International Etching and Two Hands, Inc.
| "We have a bonding that a business creates, no different
than a marriage with children. This is our
creation. These are our children. We had lots of arguments, and we had lots
of knock- down- drag- outs to get to where we are."

Providence, Rhode Island: Linda
Brunini and Jon Zucchi walk us through two businesses and their partnership.
International Etching is a jewelry
manufacturer that has beat the odds; they started their in business for 1982
and they are still going! They made it past all typical pitfalls. Now they're
planning for the next transition; they know that most businesses do not make it
past the transition from the founders to the next generation.
Two Hands, makes very special jewelry.
They work with disabled children and return to "their school" 1% of the
net sales on this jewelry which was inspired by the children's art
projects.
In 1995 the Rhode Island SBA recognized them as
Small Business Persons of the Year. |
